Some of you may have noticed, that I have been missing from my blog, for the past couple of months. Not many of you, but I now at least one person noticed it! Some of you might have just went with the natural assumption that I had died. That is wrong! So, what happened you ask? Where have you been you exclaim curiously?

A few things have occurred that has taken my time away from my blog. To begin with, it’s been Winter. I have been enjoying every bloody second of it! Winter is without a doubt, the best season! So, I have been soaking up as much coolness as possible, hoping beyond hope that it will be enough coolness to keep me alive throughout this coming summer.

Then secondly, my computer decided it lacked the will to continue living. Which means I have to get it repaired and force it to live. Because my needs should come before a bloody machine dammit!

On the upside, I should begin posting more. There’s so much I want to tell and discuss with you. Keep an eye out, and subscribe!

The Godfather

I remember when I was younger, my mother used to pretty much let me watch what I wanted. Within reason of course! She trusted my judgement on what I could handle. She was right to do so, because I knew what not to watch, because being human, I have the basic ability to tell when something is either going to freak me out, or scare the begeezus out of me. There were a few things I wouldn’t watch back in the day. The exorcist and The Shining being two of the biggest ones that stuck out in my mind.

One thing that I did watch a lot of was, Sci-fi flicks and Mobster flicks, though I doubt I would have watched a sci-fi mobster flick. Not because my little mind couldn’t handle it, but because that’s too damn cornballish even for me!

I loved Mobster flicks, and learned a great deal! I learned that Vinny and Vito were pretty common italian names, but nowhere near as common as Donald.

Yes, I said Donald! You read that right. I admit, that was slightly flawed, since I have learned that the most common Italian male name is probably Antonio, and that Donald isn’t very common at all! However, it seemed like every time I watched a Mobster movie, there was either a Vinny or a Vito. Occasionally both! Also, They were always led by some guy named Don. Yes, I have since learned that Don is not short for Donald. I have learned that there is no fictional character named Donald Corleone.

Yes, I did feel stupid. Although, thankfully I had the ignorance of youth to shield me.

Example of an American grocery store aisle.

I really hate Grocery Shopping. Just thought I would throw that out there. That being said, I am about to groggily hop into the shower, scrub myself down, and then head out to do some shopping. Hopefully, by the time I finish this entry, and begin my march to the shower, I will have fully woken up.

What do I hate about shopping for Groceries? Well, that’s not an easy question! There’s so much to hate! I’m not particularly fond of having to deal with all the people at the store. You know, the ones who park their cart in the middle of the aisle and then stand there talking to someone else, whom also has their cart parked in the middle of the aisle, thereby essentially blocking off that aisle so if you need something from the other side of their barricade, you are forced to go around them? You know the type?

I also hate roaming around the store, grabbing what I want, and stuffing it into my cart. Then, after buying the groceries, I have to load them up into the car, then unload them into the house, and then finally I have to stuff those groceries into the Shelves/Fridge/Freezer.

As I said, what’s not to hate? To top it all off, I know come next week, I have to do it all again! You know what would be really great? If people didn’t eat or drink. Then there wouldn’t be a need for Grocery Shopping! Of course, then I would miss out on important things. Things like soda, Cakes, Doughnuts and the occasional other goody that I ought not be eating but do anyway.

A parking lot with landscaping and a diagonal ...

I ran out of some important items today. Items such as bread and candy, and obviously that needed to be fixed. So, I headed on over to out local grocery store and picked up what I needed so desperately. After doing my quick emergency shopping, I decided to sit there for a moment and devour my candy. While I munched on the overpriced chocolatey goodness, I gazed out over the parking lot and watched all that transpired.

Have you ever done this? Just watched what happens in parking lots? I swear, they could do a reality series based on a parking lot! I’m watching a couple argue to the left of me, a man threatens to slap his wife or possibly his girlfriend, it was impossible to tell. Meanwhile, right in front of me a shopping cart bounces into a car setting off the vehicles alarm and nobody even glances around. It does however drive the dog in the car next to it crazy. Dog begins barking, snarling and it appeared as if he was trying to chew a whole through the car window.

That was all within the course of about 10-15 mins! Plus, I have seen some other interesting things when I have sat and watched the parking lot. Seeing the things that happens to cars in public parking lots would make me feel too nervous to even park there. I imagine it’s worse at night. Everything is worse when the sun goes down. Except T.V.! Night-time Television is much better than day-time television!
