Grandmas home!

Good news, my Granny was released from the hospital today. She’s feeling a little better, although slightly weakened, but that’s to be expected I suppose. However the important thing is that she’s OK and she’s home 🙂 I must admit I was slightly worried….ok, maybe a little more than slightly…lol

My Grandma ended up going to the hospital today. Although from what I gather its not serious, I am still worried about her! You see, my Grandma isn’t as young as she once was, nor is she as young as she likes to think she is. In fact, she is for the most part living on borrowed time. So, despite the fact that her “Condition” isn’t too serious, the fact that shes spending a few days in the hospital in it’s self isn’t good!

I’m not exactly sure what’s wrong with her, I have just been assured its not too serious. From what I have been told, her “Electrolytes” are low? Now, I don’t know what those things are, but apparently them being low is a bad thing, and can cause all kinds of weird and strange things to happen to your body. This is apparently what happened to my dear ol’ Granny. Doctors have told my family that she should be quite fine. They want to keep her a few days to monitor her and to hook her to an IV, just to be “Sure”.

I do hope she is ok. I am fully aware that women on her side of the family don’t live too long. Hell, the men don’t either. In fact, she’s the longest living family member in the history of the family! So, I am aware that her time is drawing near. That doesn’t mean I will accept it gracefully when it does happen though. You see, my grandma maybe a lot of things. She’s mean, she’s insultive, she can be sometimes cold or insensitive. However in the end, what it boils down to is this; She’s my Grandma. Although she and I argue and fight a lot. I love her with all my heart, and worry about her constantly. Even when we are fighting I love her.
