injusticeI have never enjoyed a fighter game in my life. When people were going crazy for street fighter, I was focusing on Final Fantasy or Dragon Warrior. So, Fighters have never had a spot in my gaming library. I picked this game up on a lark,. and didn’t expect to enjoy the game at all. I expected to just tool around with it a bit and go back to playing Battlefield 4, however I found myself quickly hooked on this game!

It’s made by the same folks who did the Mortal Kombat games(And in fact has 1 MK character in it..Scorpion), so you know the game is polished. The graphics are absolutely incredible and will make your eyes melt with pleasure!

So, what’s so great about this game? Too much to list, but I will try to list a few! Most characters have several different costume options/skins, so you can wear a classic superman outfit, or superman from the current movie costume. You can wear a classic batman outfit, or his outfit from Arkham city, You can be Classic Green Arrow, or “The Hood”/Arrow from the series. There are a lot of costumes.

Also, the arenas are interactive, and will become damaged as you have your superbrawl. you can also interact with items around the arena. There’s not TOO many arenas, but enough to give you a variety of choices. I hope more arenas get released as DLC.

The best thing though, is the story mode. Now, I am not a big fan of fighters, so I am not sure if it’s common or not, but this game has a full featured campaign mode, which is basically cutscenes connecting to a pre-determined arena battle. It’s an enjoyable story as well, and I couldn’t stop playing.

Once the campaign is done, the funs not over though, since there are STARS Missions, Multiplayer Arenas and Single player arena battles(Which should just basically be practice for multiplayer mode).

I have never denied the fact that I love comic books, in particular Marvel comics! Yes, I am a “Marvel Geek” and proud of it! Comic books allow you to enter an ongoing world of pure fantasy, but not so far removed as to be totally unfamiliar to the reader. It’s a world where ANYTHING can happen, and you can associate with it, because the towns, the buildings and all that are things you already know. On top of that, Marvel(As well as DC) have been around so long, that the universe of their comic books has such a rich history, that goes back farther than my existance!

So, why Marvel over DC? Well, several reasons! One is that I think the Marvel Comics universe is more realistic. Yes I know, that doesnt even make sense! People swinging from weblines? Gods chilling at the corner Starbucks? How can that even be remotely realistic? What I mean, is in comparison to DC. The cities in Marvel Comics are REAL Cities, the president is our president! It’s exactly our world, with one small difference….Super Powered entities(And the occasional alien invasion, interdimensional shifting, Time warp and near death catastrophies that happen on nearly an hourly basis)!

Plus, Marvel characters are more “Human”, and the comics focus on that humanity. It’s not just a guy in a mask doing remarkable good, with the occasional glimpse at a face behind the mask! No! Not only do we get to watch our favorite hero’s thwart an alien invasion, but also watch him figure out how he’s gonna pay his electric bill, or the damage that his heroic deeds does to his homelife.

Now, that out of the way..The main point of this post is to inform everyone about Digital Marvel Comics! A service from Marvel, that allows you to subscribe for a very small ammount, and read THOUSANDS of their comics on-line! Past as well as present! Plus, even if you manage to read all of the titles, Marvel adds new titles EVERY week! You don’t ever have to worry about running out! Plus, it’s a good way to get caught up with your favorite heros, or just check out some of the amazing story arcs that shook the Marvel universe to it’s core..Like my personal favorite: “The Others” Spider-man Story Arc!

If you enjoy comics, do yourself a favor and check it out!

Superman is a pretty powerful dude! If you’ve watched the movies, read the comic books or even watched ANY of the shows, you would know how insanely powerful he is! So, naturally when someone that powerful is running around doing good deeds(And even occasionally lapses into bouts of evilness) I wonder, what would happen if a being this powerful became and stayed evil?!? He would be the most powerful criminal entity any earthling has ever known! How could we protect ourselves, let alone stop him??

Well, fortunately I am not the only one who thought about the potential danger that could arise in just such a situation! In fact, someone invented a device that one can use to prevent superman crimes! I present to the blog surfing world! Kryptonite Bike Locks! Never again will you have to worry about your bike being stolen by superman! While this invention won’t keep you and your family safe from a potential superman rampage…you will reast easier knowing your bike won’t be falling into his hands!

Some of you may or may not have known that not too long ago there was talk of giving Aquaman his very own Television series. Even less of you might now that the series was actually filmed! The pilot episode anyway! It however was never aired. You however can still watch it on-line!

The show has a lot in common with Smallville, f’rinstance the lead actor of “Aquaman” also stars in Smallville…well, used to…not so much anymore. He used to play Oliver Queen(AKA The Green Arrow)….Which is kind of amusing seeing him play Aquaman even though Ive seen him fight side by side with Aquaman on Smallville episodes.

Another thing thats very similar between the two shows is the over-use of a hospital….most episodes of Smallville has the hospital and most of the episodes have a good ammount of time in the hospital(In fact I still think Smallville Hospital should get its own spinoff series). Apparently Aquaman was no different. First episode and the hospital was already introduced and a good ammount of time spent there.

Anyway, back to commenting on the “Aquaman” series. It was a bit of a disappointment. I didn’t care for it, but then again im not a big fan of Aquaman! However if you love Aquaman or are a major fan of DC comics, you might enjoy the pilot.
