Unofficial Uncharted Timeline

Uncharted 4 is due out very soon! This got me to thinking about Uncharted, and made me go through the franchise and get caught up, so that it’s all fresh in my memory, and thought I would share with you what I interpret the order to be in the franchise.

This is in no way an official timeline, in fact many of stories outside of the main game series can be read/played in any order. They don’t specify what period the tale takes place in. I just prefer them in a certain order based on the lack of certain characters and so fourth.

So, without further ado: The Unofficial pre-Uncharted 4 timeline(or the best way I prefer to experience the saga)!

Uncharted: Eye of Indra (Motion Comic) – I generally assume this is the first story in the Uncharted setting, since it has Eddy Raja and Nathan Drake as friends, where as by the first Uncharted game they are bitter rivals.

Uncharted: The Fourth labyrinth – This book never really specifies when it takes place, and doesn’t really have anything to do with the series. The book follows Nathan, Sully and a new character named Jada as they search for 4 ancient labyrinths!

Uncharted Comic – Another stand alone story, and no real time frame is stated but since it has Drake meeting Chloe for the first time, and still working with Flynn, one can safely assume it takes place before Uncharted 2. It feels like a story that fits in right before the golden abyss.

Uncharted: Golden Abyss – This PSP Vita game has a whole bunch of new characters not present in any other Uncharted medium!  The game could literally take place anywhere in the series, though I like to assume this takes place right before the first uncharted game. That way all the console games fit nicely together.

Uncharted: Drakes Fortune – The game that started it all! Nathan meets Elena for the first time as Nathan and Sully go on a quest for a city of gold! Available on PS3, or in the remastered collection on PS4.

Uncharted: Among Thieves – Features Chloe and Flynn working together again…just like old times! Available on PS3, or in the remastered collection on PS4.

Uncharted: Drakes Deception – The gangs all here and Cutter too! Chloe, Sully, Elena and Nathan all work together to seek out the Atlantis of the sands! Available on PS3, or in the remastered collection on PS4.

Uncharted 4: A thiefs End – Not a lot is known right now about this upcoming PS4 game. We do know Nathan and Sully are both in it though, and apparently it’s the last game in the series. It’s also a safe assumption that it will follow the events of Uncharted 3: Drakes deception. All of the core games play in chronological order with the exception of a few flashbacks….There’s no reason to assume this will be any different.
NOTE: I never played Uncharted: Drakes Trail, as it was on a European website, and existed before the first game came out. It was an ARG as far as I know, that detailed Elenas search for Uncharted prior to the first game. Still, I haven’t played it..so can’t be sure..so not adding it to the timeline.

Walking Dead and all things Zombie

The new season of Walking Dead started back a few weeks ago on AMC. So far, I am not disappointed, however I am really hoping it lasts more than six episodes, but I have a feeling each season will be six episodes. Now, normally I wouldn’t complain about a six episode season, but six episodes just isn’t enough to hold me over for a full year, and I am sure I am not the only one. To be honest, I almost forgot about the show.

However, in the end, I am going to enjoy whatever AMC decides to give me. Six episodes or more. Although I am totally going to hope for more. Just sayin’.

I do admit though, this Zombie craze is getting out of hand though. Don’t get me wrong, I fucking love zombies! I was loving Zombies long before it was cool to love them! However, there can be too much of a good thing. So, how do I know Zombie Love has reached that stage of “Too much of a good thing”? Well, my first clue was when Zombies started turning up in Call of Duty Games, and then when more zombie games than I could count started appearing on shelves. Most recently when comics started having The Crew of the Enterprise battle hordes of the undead.

However, what really made me shake my head and say “Enough is enough!” is when a local furniture store had a commercial featuring Zombies, who apparently were really sleepy after a hard day of brain sucking, and needed to buy some beds…I think.

So, bottom line, keep the zombie stuff flowing, I love it! However, slow it down a little.

An Easter Tale

Happy Easter my Interwebs friends! Today of course is the day where the giant man-sized rabbit puts on his bow, goes out to his chicken coop to collect his magical Technicolor eggs, and then runs around the world hiding them in the yards of perfect strangers! Don’t over think it! It’s not supposed to make sense!

Merry Christmas

Actually, that’s a lie, depending on who you ARE I might appreciate you, other times I might not. I have no way of really saying that without knowing who’s reading at any given time. However no matter who you are, I want the best for you, because nobody deserves any level of ickiness.

Except spider. They deserve ickiness, cause that’s what they are! ickiness embodied!

Rockstar Christmas

Do you game? If so, then you probably have heard of the company Rockstar. They are responsible for one of my favorite game series. Yea, you guessed it, Grand Theft Auto. I have actually been playing Grand Theft Auto 4 quite a bit, mainly because Rockstar has released 2 DLC add-on games, which are quite fun.

At anyrate, I decided to release another holiday strip, this one centering slightly on christmas in Liberty City(One of the main cities in the Grand Theft Auto universe, just in case you weren’t aware)

When Snowmen fight!

Well, Winter is here in full force now! It’s snowing in places where snow oughta not be falling, People are freezing to death in their sleep, and of course christmas is creeping up closer with each passing day. Winter is a great time to bundle up under blankets, snuggle with someone you love, drink hot cocoa, eat hot popcorn, sit in front of a blazing fireplace and of course it is a time to build snowmen! That is unless you’re one of the people who ended up freezing to death of course.

So, in honor of winter, which just so happens to be my most favoritest season, Here is a Winter themed Strip, and as an added bonus, it doesn’t contain any of the GameGuys regulars. In fact, it doesn’t include ANYONE! Unless of course you consider talking snowmen someone but, that would be crazy 😯

This Comic strip has no basis in reality, not all the strips are based on true stories, just a good number of em! 😀 I just thought this would be amusing. Hell, I haven’t even had and booze in well over a month. Currently bored of being drunk. Prolly won’t drink again until the boredom goes away and the novelty of being drunk returns.
