The Goldbergs? Season 3? Huh?!

I was bored this evening, and flipped through Hulu to see if anything worth watching was on, when I saw a listing for Season 3 of the ABC series “The Goldbergs“. I rather enjoyed the show, however I thought it got cancelled after the first season! Apparently it hasn’t and now season 3 has started. This means I need to watch ALL of season 2 in order to catch up. Thankfully the entire second season is available for viewing on Hulu, so catching up will be a cinch!

I’m not sure why I thought the show was cancelled. I checked it’s Wiki page, and apparently it never got cancelled! It’s not like it’s a show that got the axe, but then got saved thanks to the love of it’s fanbase. It was just renewed. What I did see on the wiki is that the show changed days/time and got moved behind the show “The Middle“, which is an ABC show I don’t watch, and in fact until last night thought it was “Malcom in the Middle
just renamed after the character Malcom left. Imagine my surprise when I discovered myself to be wrong. Fun fact: I never watched Malcom in the Middle either!

The Glass House on ABC

ABC has a new reality show out this summer called “The Glass House“. The first thing you notice about this show, is that on the outside, it shares a lot of similarities with another summer reality show called “Big Brother”. However, at its core it’s — Oh, who am I kidding?! This is totally exactly like Big Brother!

The show is basically as follows: A group of people are stuck in a house together, they work as a team, and do odd little puzzles and games to win immunity from being evicted that particular week. Also, as a “twist”, the viewers also get to interact with show, through a series of votes. Everyday, the viewers get to vote on things that happen in the house. Like, what do the contestants eat, what types of party they will be given and unlike modern big brother, the viewers also vote, who goes home.

If all of that didn’t sound big brotherishy enough for you, let me also mention, that you can go to the website, and watch live streams from inside the house, but only when the streams are available.

So, it’s a lot like Big Brother, however that doesn’t make it bad! Big Brother is a great show, and one of the only positive things about the summer. Which, by default, makes The Glass House entertaining, and means I will definitely be watching. Plus, you can also watch it on HULU Plus, so that’s a bonus!

Speaking of Big Brother, shouldn’t that be on by now?!?

Who is….The Mole?!

Ok, so I’ve been watching this season of “The Mole“. It’s become somewhat of an addiction for me saddly, but it IS a great show! Too good for it’s own good as a matter of fact!

From the very first episode this season I had three main choices on who “The Mole” was. Those suspects were Nichole, Mark and Craig. Now, the series is nearly finished…it’s down to the final three players…and those players are? Nichole, Mark and Craig…DOH!

Ok, so obviously one of my choices were right…But which one? My guess is Nichole. Craig is a very close second…I however don’t believe too much that Mark is The Mole…and if he is? Well, he’s gotta be the worst friggen Mole in Mole history, because he’s pretty much single handedly been winning the game for everyone…

Nichole just seems like shes covering things up.

As for Craig? The only reason I choose him to begin with, is because he LOOKS like a mole…Doesn’t he? like one of them ground burrowing moles…..

8 limbed indian girl recovers

Some of you might have heard about the 2 year old indian girl who was having to go into surgery to have 8 limbs removed. For those interested more on that can be read on the ABC website. Else you can click “More” and read it here. It’s actually quite touching..I usually don’t put a whole lot of Current events on my blog but wanted to post this here because it is quite fascinating and as I mentioned touching. 

Cavemen Series on ABC

ABC went and turned the Caveman characters from the Geico ads into a TV series. Hard to believe, I know…But saddly it’s 100% true. I sat through the first episode, and my thoughts on this series isn’t good. Would I say it’s the worst TV show ever released? Well that would be kind of harsh considering TV stations have released some pretty stinking shows..Like The Chevy Chase Show, Cop Rock, That 80s Show, Barney & Friends and Teletubbies….However it is true..In my Opinion “Cavemen” is the WORST show on television, and that has ever BEEN on television.

I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if there was no second episode aired, and if they DO air a second episode, it was only because they didn’t realise what a tragic mistake they made. In which case a second episode might air, and then when they go over the ratings, read through their piles of mail and discover that people really think this show sucks big piles of donkey doo…THEN they will realise the mistake yank the third episode and replace it with repeats of “October Road“…Yea, that show sucks too, but in comparison, it was pure gold!

Nice try ABC, but please…WATCH the pilots of a show before adding them to your fall schedule…If you want to add garbage like this to your summer line-up…Go right ahead, nobody watches TV then…but fall? Use common sense people!!!
