Megan fox and Jolie comparison

Ok, so there’s this article on MSNBC talking about Megan Fox, and in his article the guy seems to imply that Angelina Jolie has talent, and that Megan Fox isn’t as Talented as Jolie.

Now, I will admit that I don’t know how much talent this Megan Fox chick has, because I have honestly not seen anything she’s been in. I did start to watch Transformers, but I fell asleep, because the movie was boring as hell. So, anway, I don’t know who the hell she is! What I do know however, is that “Angelina Jolie” does not have ANY talent as far as I am concerned. I firmly believe she is the most untalented actresses I have ever seen! I have also seen trouts that I thought were more talented than Jolie for christs sake, and I also think she is simply an attention whore. I believe that she is SO fixated on being in the medias eye, that she will do anything to stay in it.

So, I really don’t think Megan Fox could be any less talented than jolie. If she is, then thats just scary…In my opinion anyway.

Ok, now I know theres a lot of jolie fanboys having heart spasms as they read this blog entry shouting at there monitor “Leave Jolie alone!!!!!!” in a fasion not unlike Chris Crocker and his Britney break-down! To those who are majorly upset, I say to you this…Get over it. You’ll be alright in the morning. Not everyone in the world is going to like your idol. It’s a fact of life, and accepting that is a part of growing up.

Marvel-Disney Merger

I  am sure most comic fans, and even disney fans has heard that disney has bought out Marvel Comics. What’s this going to mean for the world of Marvel? Who knows! This could however open the doors for some crazy Comic book story arcs. I mean, it’s not unthinkable. DC did it with WB licenses. For instance Superman has had a run-in with Bugs Bunny as scary as that sounds. So, now lets take a look at what I feel would be the worst comic book arcs in the history of marveldom.

1) Howard the Duck vs Donal Duck –  A special oneshot, where Howard discovers clues that leads to another one of his kind on earth. He then discovers Donald Duck! Mayhem ensues.

2) Exiles: For whom the Belle tolls. – A 3 part story Arc, One of the Exiles goes home, they then get a new team mate. This one however powerless. It’s Belle from beauty and the beast. She has become unhinged from her own time and must now travel with the Exiles to make things right. They end up Blinking into a reality where most mutants have been killed off. A rebellion is being led by former X-man Henry McCoy, also known as “Beast”! The Exiles have to make sure that in this world Magneto takes over the United State, but doing this COULD spell doom for Henry McCoy. During this tale, Belle Falls in love with Henry(Cause as you all know she apparently has a thing for hairy guys named Beast). They manage to finish their mission while ensuring Henry lives. They Blink out, but for some reason Belle stays with Beast to live happily ever after…awwwww…Their old team-mate then rejoins them.

3) Avengers: The Tinkering – This HUGE  part saga details the introduction of a new Avenger. Tinkerbell, Codenamed “Glowbug”.  Eventually she will spin-off into a mini series with the wasp in a 5 part tale called “Girls flight out”.

4) Ultimate X-men: The Ringing – Xavier discovers a new mutant with cerebro. Why, it’s Quasimoto! Quasi is then accepted into the X-mansion and becomes a major part of the team…Ringing the school bell between classes.

5) Fantastic Four: It came from…Hawaii?? – The fantastic four arrive in Hawaii to measure the volcanic density of the area. While there they discover an alien named Stitch. Reed decides to capture it and take it back to study it. After determining it’s no harm they decide to keep the little guy as a mascot. Thing is not impressed.

6) Major Marvel Milestone Event crossover saga – Read Richards of the Fantastic Four are doing some studies on some temporal disturbances. He fiddles with some highly sensitive knobs and gadgets. While going over some read-outs, that whacky Mascot known as Stitch knocks over a mug of coffee onto the computer panel causing sparks to fly and an interdimensional portal to open. Soon an army begins pouring out of the portals wearing all black battle armor, and helmets with what looks like mouse ears on top.

As the story unfolds it is discovered these soldiers are known as “The Mouseketeers” They are the main fighting force of whats called “The Magic Kingdom”. They begin attacking manhattan. All the superheroes engage in this battle to save the day. As the event continues, their leader will emerge into this world. A giant Mutant. Part man, Part mouse known only as “Micky”! Spider-man obviously has alot of quips about how fearsom the name is.

In the end the Marvel universe will push the mousketeers back through the portal along with their leader and Reed Richards, will manage to seal the portal closed. several old and unused marvel characters will be killed off to add to the shock and drama. Everyone will rejoice in the fact that the world is safe…Or is it? The story will end showing a mousketeer hiding in an abandoned warehouse working on a strange glowing device.

ZOMG! Pirates!

Ok, so im sure most of you have heard of the captain being held by pirates, and like most everyone you have heard of the daring rescue of this captain who is getting referred to all over the place as a hero. You have also I am sure heard that the pirates have vowed revenge against the U.S., and Obama pledging to fight piracy! So, I am thinking this; Why should we?

I mean, why do we got to pledge to fight against piracy. Why not just get together a bunch of ninjas, and send em over to take out the pirates? I mean, seriously…We all know ninjas are way cooler than pirates. If it had been ninjas that was holding the captain hostage, the outcome would have been sooooo different..Unless they were zombie or ghost pirates..but that would be just silly!

On another note, I think lately people throw the term “Hero” around way too often these days. It seems like everytime I turn around, there’s the new flavor of the day. Whats worse is you can become a “Hero” for pretty much anything, and if it’s lacking that “Pazazz” to make people want to jump up and cheer, don’t worry! The media will hype pretty much everything up to make you you look like the best thing to come around since jesus! Well, that is unless they need a villian then you will be made to look like the anti-christ.

Apparently the pope has gone insane. That’s the only logical explanation! Otherwise Condoms really DO cause STDs.

Obama!

You know what bugs me? Obama hasn’t even taken the seat of president yet, and people are already saying “He’s the best president we’ve ever had!!!”, to this I say loudly..WTF? People drone on about how he’s going to pull us up out of the mud and put us back on top!

This is all great and stuff..but, best president ever? what? he’s not even president yet. I’m sorry, did someone go for a ride with doc brown into the future? because I honestly don’t know how anyone can say he’s the best president ever when he’s only president elect! Don’t get me wrong, i hope he does turn out to be all that and a bag of cheetos, but for fucks sake man! “He’s going to be the best.” “He’s going to save the country!” No pressure eh? Let the man breath! Stop making these assumptions, stop adding pressure to this guy, as if running a country wasnt bad enough. As if cleaning up after Bush wasn’t bad enough. He also has all this pressure you people are adding. You’re turning him into an urban legend is what yer doing.

That being said, no matter WHAT happens, Bush is gone so I’m happy.

Zombies in the Sewers

It sounds like something out of a Hollywood blockbuster.

But staff at a sewage works have called in a ghostbuster because they are being stalked by a zombie-like figure who roams the underground tunnels.

Workers at Southern Water’s treatment plant in Eastbourne, East Sussex, said they have been scared to enter tunnels after being followed about by a “humanoid figure” as they went about their jobs.

Mark Wey, a sewage treatment worker, got permission from his bosses to hire a paranormal investigator to launch an investigation into the sewage spirits.

Mr Wey hired parapsychologist Michael Kingscote who paid the tunnels a visit.

The clairvoyant said: “There seems to be one particular area that’s giving people the creeps. People have seen and felt things.”

Mr Wey said: “Michael instantly detected someone standing there and he was suspicious there was something quite unusual there.

“The conclusion is, we can’t prove it is haunted because of strong electromagnetic fields, which can cause the illusion of being haunted, the feeling of being touched or watched, but there is definitely paranormal activity.

“People feel uneasy when they enter the building and the hairs on the back of your neck go up.

“A lot of people don’t like going in there. You can hear voices in the tunnels.”

Mr Wey said the figure, which followed workers about often laughed at them and staff could hear “muffled conversations” coming from behind the tunnel walls.

Another worker said: “I believe in ghosts and I’m sure there’s something in there. I dread doing the night shift.

“It’s not funny going to work and worrying that a zombie might be around the corner.”

A Southern Water spokesman said: “Mr Wey has a personal interest in the afterlife and found our underground site at Eastbourne somewhat spooky.

“We hope the findings weren’t too frightening.”

Mr. President

Well, most people are already fully aware of the election results. In some places fireworks were launched, other cities people we dancing and yelling in the streets, all celebrating the election results which announced Obama as our next President. The man who will lead us into the future and beyond!

I however was not dancing in the streets or firing off fireworks in a celebration of noise. Nor however was I shaking my head in total disbelief that McCain lost the election yet again(For those of you keeping score, this is McCains second loss…Hey, third times the charm!).

You see, quite honestly I didn’t care for either of the candidates. Don’t get me wrong. Im not saying they are horrible. As a matter of fact, either of them will be able to out perform Bush, and frankly im just thrilled to get ol’ dubbya out of fricken office…

Another thing that bugged me about the two candidates was the fact that they were using those damn robo calls! I hate being called by robots..and i was getting enough calls to make me just stop answering the phone…Also this was a particularly dirty campaign on both sides. especially their supporters..I mean, beating your self up and claiming a supporter of obama did it to you? Whats wrong with you people?!

Personally, I would have preferred to have Hillary in office, rather than Obama or McCain….Thats just my opinion..I think she could have done a lot for the country(I mean, she did last time she was in office when she was puppeteering good ol’ Bill).

Although after giving this some thought, perhaps i SHOULD have been dancing in the streets…I mean, the campaign is finally over! TV viewing will go back to normal, real news will be shown on CNN instead of political information..and most importantly, Bush will be hitting the road….

8 limbed indian girl recovers

Some of you might have heard about the 2 year old indian girl who was having to go into surgery to have 8 limbs removed. For those interested more on that can be read on the ABC website. Else you can click ”More” and read it here. It’s actually quite touching..I usually don’t put a whole lot of Current events on my blog but wanted to post this here because it is quite fascinating and as I mentioned touching. 

Journeyman: Renewed?

Apparently NBC went and ordered some more scripts for the television series “Journeyman” as well as a few other television shows. Does this mean these shows are sticking around? Not exactly, while it’s a good sign, and it does show a stations interest in a series, it doesn’t gaurantee anything..Except provides a small flicker of hope to fans of these shows.
